A Postdoctoral Fellowship is available at the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (ICMC) at the University of São Paulo (USP) in São Carlos, Brazil. This opportunity focuses on developing mathematical and computational tools for planning dredging operations in Brazilian rivers.
The project integrates numerical optimization with computational fluid dynamics (CFD), specifically addressing hydrodynamics and the transport of pollutants or sediments. The selected candidate will contribute to a project titled "Non-Linear Programming and Inverse Problems in Imaging."
