About the Position
The PhD position involves research as a Predoctoral Researcher, focusing on medieval and/or early modern Ottoman studies, specifically within cultural, intellectual, and institutional history. The role requires working with primary sources in Persian and Ottoman Turkish, contributing to the ERC-SYNERGY project MOSAIC.
Eligibility
- Master's degree in medieval and/or early modern Ottoman studies (cultural, intellectual, institutional history) with a minimum GPA of 3.6/4 (excellent).
- English language proficiency at B1 level (working language), with excellent command of Persian and Ottoman Turkish.
- Record of academic publications/conferences relevant to career stage.
- Experience working with primary sources in Persian and Ottoman Turkish.
- Minimum score of 80 in the selection process.
