About the Position
The core of this research scholarship involves designing and developing a centralized, distributed Attestation Service. This service will be aligned with the SPIFFE/SPIRE identity framework and integrated into an Edge architecture to support workload and node identity verification across federated domains. Additionally, the role includes building administrative interfaces for operators to define attestation policies and manage attested nodes/workloads, consistent with EURO-3C's multi-level federation and multi-tenant operational model. The scholar will also be responsible for designing and deploying an evaluation scenario on EURO-3C's edge infrastructure to characterize the implementation's performance, scalability, and security guarantees under representative Telco-Edge-Cloud conditions.
